THE ORGANISATION
Socotra Advisor Tours is based in Hadibo, the capital of Socotra to offer a number of services in a wide range of destinations on the archipelago of Socotra. It organizes customized tours for indipendent travelers, as well as packeged holidays for small and big groups. It can also act as an agent for major travel companies from Yemen and other Countries.
Socotra Advisor Tours is an accredited tour operator, fully qualified to assist in the organization of holidays: accomodation (hotel and camping), transport (4×4 cars, pick up, boats, bicycles, camels) grant of protected areas, permits, maps, activities (snokeling, diving, fishing, hiking, trekking, riding camels, exploring caves, kite surfing or just relazing on uncountaminated beaches), logistics support for guides trips and more if required.
In addition to regular tour services, Socotra Advisor Tours offers a complete out fitting of camping equipment and cooking gears for adventurous people fancying a true exploration of the beautiful Socotra.
THE TEAM
According to eco-tourism citeria, people working for Socotra Advisor Tours are local men, mostly well trained professionals (UNDP, United Nation Development Programme), with extensive knowledge of the nature and culture of the island. Their tounge language is Socotri and they also speak Arabic. Correct communication and relationships among tourists and locals are provided by speaking English guides, cultural-linguistic mediators who facilitates the placement of foreigners into the Socotri social context. In addition, some friendly guides and drivers enjoy to share and improve they basic knowledge of Italian, Spanish, French and German.

Socotra Advisor offers the opportunity to discover and explore Socotra through many services:
- Airline tickets (international/domestic flights)
- Assistance service and airport transfer (Abu Dhabi, Seiyoun, Socotra)
- Accomodation in hotels and camp-sites
- Camping equipments: tents, mattresses, pillows, sheets, tables, chairs, lamps and cooking gears
- Meals (restaurant agreements, employment of cooks, personal shopping at market) and water supply
- Car rentals (4×4 Toyota Land cruisers, 4/5 PAX or less in each car, driver and fuel included)
- Boat rentals for trips and/or fishing
- Entrance fees in Protected Areas or other sites, travel/fishing permits
- Daily excursions and tailor-made itineraries
- Packeged standard tours (include visit to Protected Areas and cultural sites; consist of off-road driving by 4×4 to beaches, mountains and wadi, sight-seeing and picture taking, relaxing on beaches, swimming and snorkelling, sitting end enjoying time with locals, some light hiking). Our standard programmes include the most interesting and beautiful places of the island of Socotra.
